These are my concerns, in my own words.
I feel the pressure that rising property taxes and the cost of living place on residents. I want taxpayers to be able to see clearly how much is being collected, where it is being spent and what value residents are receiving in return.
See the published tax numbersI believe Wainfleet residents should be able to ask what they receive for the regional portion of their tax bill and whether those services reflect the needs of a rural community.
I want infrastructure decisions, major capital projects and long-term financial commitments to be explained clearly, costed carefully and reported transparently to residents.
I believe the Township should operate efficiently, scrutinize spending and make it easy for residents to understand how their tax dollars are being used.
I am running because I want residents to feel heard. I believe important decisions should be explained openly, with clear public information about the reasons, costs and consequences.
